What happens when there are conflicting licensing regulations for psychologists?

Considering how many different types of licensing regulations and associations, do the licensing rules ever conflict with one another? If so, what happens? Have associations ever come into conflict about their licensing?

Each state has one set of regulations. Associations have to follow the state rules. I am not sure who you are talking about with Associations? What you do is write the department of rules and regs of your state. They will write back about specific questions. Psychologists, counselors, social workers etc all follow the same rules. The difference is sometimes with maintaining their licenses.
