I am using a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 and I have had a problem with it for a long time. Since the screen is so small when I try to accept some downloads or license agreements such as Adobe Reader, I can not view the whole thing because of my screen so I cannot accept it or use it.
Anything I can do to alter or fix this?
To indicate that you accept the agreement you would usually place a check mark into a check box or click on a button of some sort. You can move from each element on the page by using the Tab key on your keyboard. Try hitting Tab several times, until the desired check box is activated. In some cases you would need to hit Space bar to add or remove check mark.
Do you know anybody who does?
I do. Absolutely. That’s where spyware will stick it "we reserve the rights to install software on your machine…." (I once saw a shareware EULA that said, "by installing this software, you agree to allow your machine to be used to contact other machines on the Internet…" ) And, you’re a fool NOT to read it. It’s a legal contract. And you’re agreeing to it.Why would you NOT read it??? I’m not saying sit and read line by line through the whole thing, but at least skim through it and read the sections to see what you’re AGREEING to and if there’s anything bad in it.
Let’s say a student at a university violates a proprietary software licence agreement by making copies of the full version of some type of software and distributing it to his classmates. The software was only intended to be installed on computers in the lab at school. What actions might the company that creates this software take against the university/student? Is suing likely? or what?
If you are caught you are very likely to have to owe a large chunk of change.
I don’t know how to recover my music library or if it can be recovered. any ideas?
You can try using this freeware http://www.piriform.com/recuva
When i tried installing a copy of xp pro that ive had for a while, it stopped and keeps stopping whenit comes to the license agreement part. It won’t let me accept the agreement. Is this because its installed on too many computers? or is it because my windows 7 pre configured dell inspiron mini 10 won’t support xp?
It’s because you haven’t scrolled to the bottom (e.g. read it all).
inspiron 1011 so i got blue screeen of death went to repair windows typed format c: it did it, then tried installing the operating system and it freezes at the agreement and the disk drive stops making nois. or lighting up, completely, any ideas what to do?
when doing the re-install try deleting the logical and primary partitions then create two new ones, put the new system on one of these, worth a try :O)
i just got my new ipod nano, and i dont know where on my computer to save the ipod software license agreement to?

its an inspiron 1011 with an 1.6- ghz processor and a intel 945 family chipset and a pheonixBIOS well when i click intall win xp it freezes there. at the end ur\ser license agreement..what now?
More than likely there is a scratch on the CD that you have, either that or you didn’t refortmat your HD correctly, or finally the HD is beginning to fail.
Check with your hardware vendor for any bios updates (have updated bios to latest version)
Disable cahing or shadowing memory (have disabled the memory caching)
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components restart your computer and press F8 to select advanced start up options then select safe mode (there is no safe mode as there is no OS installed)
i just installed photoshop cs3 and every time i open it up, it prompts me with the license agreement but theres no writing and the accept button is not clickable and neither are the decline and cancel button. Does anyone have the solution, iv also tried un-installing and re-installing it but it hasnt worked.
